Tech-Set was established in 1979 in the North-East of England when co-founders Bill Baty and John Joyce came together and decided to go it alone in the world of typesetting, The result was the creation of Tech-Set as a Partnership, changing its status in the mid-1980's to a Private Limited Company.

 

Starting from humble beginnings, they built the business that is the market-leading provider of typesetting and illustrating to the UK academic and educational sectors. The company now has state-of-the-art premises with staff who have vast experience and knowledge in this industry. They also have a vast network of similar experienced and knowledgeable Freelance experts to call upon. Clients include the biggest names in the publishing industry, such as Pearson Education, Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, Macmillan, Hodder, and many many others. Tech-Set also handles work for many overseas clients as well. Our expanding list of commercial clients is a huge growth area, for example, Examination Boards; Qualification Agencies etc.  . . .
