The company was established in 1979 in the North East of England when Co-founders Bill Baty and John Joyce got together and decided to go it alone in the world of typesetting, The result was the creation of Tech-Set Ltd.

 

Starting from humble beginnings with just two members of staff, they built the business up to become the market leaders in UK academic and educational typesetting. The company now have state of the art premises with 16 members of staff who have a combined experience of over 200 years. They also have a huge network of Freelance experts to call upon. Clients include the biggest names in the publishing industry, including Pearson Education, Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press and many others.
